Albert A., Zaporozhye
On August, 4th Albert celebrated his 7th birthday. The staff of the fund did all they could to fill the day with care and wonders for the boy. Little Alik felt that somebody loved him and cared. Only those who loved could give him such wonderful gifts: clothes, toys, books, paints.

But the most important was his birthday cake. Alik had to snuff out 7 candles on it!!!

On September, 1st Alik went to school. That is why there were stationery items among his gifts. He also received an “adult” gift – money (about 41 euro). His granny was going to buy him a jacket and a schoolbag. As a young child, he was happy to receive gifts and started playing with them – lively and with pleasure. This little orphan had a happy birthday with his birthday cake, care and attention.

And little Alik’s heart missed beats because of happiness: he was loved, and how important it was for an orphan! He felt this love on his birthday – a very important day for him. And it was love from people who cared. Our fund has been taking care of Alik for three years: Alik received from our fund PWC clothes, footwear, toys, sweets and other gifts.

And, of course, we invite Alik to all our events and Jewish holidays!

Note: Alik’s granny is his guardian. She is 70. Alik has lived with her since his childhood. His father and mother divorced before Alik’s birth. Now his father lives in another city having another family. Alik’s mother suffered from drug addiction, was killed in a car accident in 2004. |
